About the Course
Course Overview
A new paradigm in minimally invasive surgery, based on diagnosis and treatment planning of questionable and hopeless molar teeth will be presented. This course will feature immediate implant placement and present current techniques for immediate management of multi-rooted teeth in both maxillary and mandibular extraction sites.
The hands-on component will provide a comprehensive overview of atraumatic molar extraction, alveolar ridge management, immediate molar implant placement and the role of implant design and its influence on initial stability. The selection of graft material, predictability and long term success will be discussed.

About the Instructor
Dr. Azeem Sheikh DDS
Dr. Azeem Sheikh, a distinguished alumnus of the University of Western Ontario (2003), completed his Implant Training at the University of Toronto in 2005. He runs a referral-based GP private practice in Brampton, Ontario, specializing in Immediate Implant surgery. Dr. Sheikh is a renowned course lecturer and educator on topics such as Implant Therapy, Case Acceptance, and Business, having placed over 6000 immediate implants, including anterior, molar, and full-arch implants. He serves as the Course Director and Clinical Instructor for the Hiossen Basic Implant Training Program and is the founder of the Ontario Dental Implant Network, which provides live surgery mentorship and programs to over 120 dentists.
